Housing Ministry
Are you aware of a struggling individual in need of temporary housing?

GVR's housing ministry has been specifically created to support those in the City of Tucson who have found themselves without the means of providing the basic necessity of a roof over their heads.  There are two homes available in Tucson:  The Women’s Home (east side) and the Men’s Home (centrally located).  Individuals will live in the homes for up to six months without having to pay rent or utilities while they commit to finding employment and getting back on their feet.

Please understand two important things:  1)  These are not “group homes”.  GVR is simply allowing individuals in need to stay together in these homes for a brief time; and 2) The ministry is in its infant stages and will develop, in collaboration with other Christian churches, organizations, and individuals.

Each guest is asked to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

GVR’s vision is to generate the financial resources required to support these homes, but until then sponsorships (from churches or individuals) will be needed to cover the per-room cost.

If you are interested in supporting GVR's Housing Ministry, please make checks payable to CrossRoads Church (1603 S Eastside Loop, Tucson, AZ 85710), and put "GVR" in the memo section.  Of course, all donations are tax deductible.

Update: The homes are basically furnished.  However, a few furnishings are still needed such as kitchen items, a washer and dryer, bed frames and box springs, landscaping needs, etc.  Please contact us if you can help with any of these needs!
